After finishing my [Elizabethan Courtier’s Garb], I felt it was missing something, and sought to add some headwear to my wardrobe. What started as a simple search on your classic medieval flat cap quickly became a rabbit hole of research and a week long hyperfixation of just making hats (including several of my heraldic hats).
